About Us
Meet Janine and Delia
Delia and Janine are friends and colleagues whose paradigm of the world coincide. They share similar dreams, aspirations, insights and vision about life, healing, and spiritual pursuits. It is through the channel of this alignment that New Millennium Healing was formed.
They met while Delia was a student of Janine’s in the Massage Therapy Program at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. After graduation they became fast friends when Delia attended Janine’s Continuing Education course in Medical Massage, of which she is now the Assistant Teacher. Currently they collaborate on educational videos and other Continuing Education courses on touch, sound, and energetic therapeutic modalities.
Delia and Janine share a deep abiding friendship as well as many similar interests such as crafting Mala beads, hiking, cooking, and reading. They enjoy great laughter together whenever life allows them to visit and engage in any of these activities. Together they also support each other’s pursuit of spiritual growth, of bringing healing touch and other healing modalities to the world, of bringing knowledge and inspiration to their students, and of amplifying the Light on the planet.
About Janine
For over 35 years, I have worked with massage and energy in both private practice and as a senior faculty member at the prestigious Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City.
Along with my extensive medical massage experience, my background includes the study of acupuncture, herbs, hypnotherapy, as well as other healing modalities. I also develop curriculum and teach the following post-graduate classes: Swedish Institute Medical Massage Certification: The Strenta Method, Exploring Energy, Oncology Massage: A Multi Therapeutic Approach, and Fusion: A Synthesis of Physical and Energetic Body Work.
I teach massage and energy workshops throughout the United States and currently have a private practice in Brooklyn.
Janine’s Story
There is a universal energy that moves through us, animates us, and creates a continuous collaboration between the physical and the etheric. As a body worker I hope to bring this understanding to everyone I touch so that each person experiences the inner wisdom and healing nature of their own body. Through my hands-on work I endeavor to reference the client's body for them, to create a vivid therapeutic experience of themselves from within themselves, and to help reorient the physical self and the energetic self to each other, and to their natural vibration of health.
As a teacher I strive to see each individual student as the Spirit they are. I teach from my heart and my experience so that I can more openly bridge my understanding and knowledge to my students and inspire them. I am overjoyed when I see their eyes light up with comprehension and their faces shine.
About Delia
I’m an energy healing practitioner, massage therapist and college instructor, with a private practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in New Paltz, NY. I am passionate about the modalities I practice which range from the more subtle (energy balancing, sound therapy, mindfulness and breath-work) to the more concrete (physiologic).
I specialize in guiding individuals on a transformative journey toward self-empowerment, encouraging a shift of focus inward to live mindfully and cultivate a profound sense of balance in their lives.
